Aurora Aksnes born 15th June 1996 Stavanger is an Norwegian musician and songwriter. Her debut E.P. Running with the Wolves is released in May of 2015 by Decca Records. It has received a lot of praise from music press and bloggers. Half the World Away, by the Oasis band, was released for John Lewis Christmas advertisements and Nature Boy by Nat King Cole are just two of the artist's high-profile recordings. Aurora Aksnes earliest musical memory is that of finding a piano in her attic and being awed by the sound it could create. The singer began to write lyrics of her own. Bjork and Leonard Cohen are among her favorite songwriters. When her mother said that her songs would not just help her get noticed, however, they could also help others understand their importance within the global community and see how they can benefit from them and her music, she was inspired to start singing in public. At age 6 She began playing the piano. At age nine, she was writing music. Her family didn't hear about her musical journey until she was fourteen. Aurora's accomplishments were never the goal of her. She says she just likes writing songs. She believes that music can help anyone feel better.
