Anna Gunn

Anna Gunn (born in America) is an American actor. Her most well-known role was as Skyler in the drama series of AMC, Breaking Bad. She won the Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Leading Performance by a Supporting Actress in a a Drama Series in 2013 and 2014. The actress has also appeared as Jean Ward in The Practice, and Martha Bullock in Deadwood. Anna Gunn, born 1968 in Sante Fe New Mexico fell attracted to acting during preparation for her first performance before moving to Ohio. She studied theatre at Northwestern University, and spent an entire semester at the British American Drama Academy. Anna was employed in the Chicago theatre for several years, before attempting TV and movie roles. Anna had her first big part as Arden as Arden when Down the Shore aired 29 episodes in the year 1992. Anna continued appearing in films as well as TV shows such Seinfeld, NYPD Blue and others up to the late 1990's. Anna was later cast in The Practice as Jean Ward. Martha Bullock was her role in Deadwood in two full seasons. She was cast in Breaking Bad as Skyler, in the year 2008. Sully was another of her characters. Gunn was also on the stage to play in the David Schwimmer directed production Sex With Strangers. In 2022, Gunn participated in an audio-play series named "Numbered Days". Breaking Bad is often centered on the relationships of Walter White with his wife Skyler. Their relationship is strained and eventual end resembles the final years in Walter White's life.
